Fukrey fame actor Manjot Singh was offered Animal: Rashmika slapped Ranbir 25 times for the perfect shot

Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's film Animal was a super hit at the box office. However, many viewers also criticized it heavily. Now in a recent interview, Sandeep's brother Pranay told that to achieve perfection in the slap scene of this film, actress Rashmika Mandanna had slapped Ranbir Kapoor 20 to 25 times.

Ranbir told Rashmika – 'This is completely your scene'
In an interview given to iDream Media, Pranay said, 'I think Rashmika's character Geetanjali in the film is as important as Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol's. Ranbir will hardly have 4 dialogues in the Karva Chauth scene of the film. That scene is completely of Rashmika.

During the shooting, Ranbir had also told Rashmika that this scene was completely hers and to ensure that it was shot well, Rashmika could hit him as much as she wanted. Ranbir even took 20 to 25 slaps from Rashmika to get the perfect shot. Ranbir wanted to bring out the emotions of this scene completely.

This film has been directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga (left). His brother Pranay Reddy Vanga has been the producer of the film.

Manjot was offered the role of Ranbir's cousin.
On the other hand, 'Fukrey' fame actor Manjot Singh also told in an interview that director Sandeep had offered him the role of Ranbir's cousin brother in the film. However, Manjaet did not accept this offer and later this character was played by actor Avdeep Sidhu.

In an interview to India Today, Manjot said, 'I went to meet director Sandeep there and he gave me the brief of my character. This role was of a cousin of Ranbir whom he meets when he goes to his village in Punjab. The name of this character was also Manjot. At that time I did not have much idea about my character.

Manjot is known for the role of Lalli in the film Fukrey.

Manjot further said, 'When I met Sandeep sir, I told him that I am a fan of his work. I told him that I have seen Kabir Singh three times. I wanted to do this film only to respect Sandeep Sir but I myself asked him whether I should do this film or not? He said that the role is not so amazing that people remember it, no problem… we will work together again some other time.

Ranbir Kapoor starrer film Animal has earned Rs 880.83 crore worldwide at the box office. It has proved to be a hit at the box office.
