Salaar's earnings fell by 50% on the fifth day: Earned 23.50 crores on Tuesday, Shahrukh's Dunky did business of only 10 crores

South superstar Prabhas's film Salaar saw a 50% drop in its earnings on the fifth day. Where on Monday this film had collected Rs 46 crores. Whereas on Tuesday it was able to do business of only Rs 23 crore 50 lakh.
With this, the total Indian box office collection of the film has reached Rs 278 crore 90 lakh.
Dunky's total collection is Rs 140.20 crore
On the other hand, there has been a drop in the earnings of Shahrukh Khan's film Dunky on the sixth day. The film did a business of Rs 24 crore 32 lakh on Monday. Whereas on Tuesday it earned only Rs 10 crore 25 lakh.
Now Dinky has earned Rs 140 crore 20 lakh across the country. Donkey was released on 21 December, a day before Salaar.
Both films earned this much globally
Talking about the global box office collection of both the films, Salaar has done a business of around Rs 500 crore in 5 days. The worldwide collection of Dunky has reached around Rs 300 crore.
Salaar has so far grossed $6.9 million in North America.
Donkey did a worldwide business of Rs 256.40 crore in 5 days. Now its collection is around Rs 300 crore.
Earnings will increase again in the second weekend
Trade analysts believe that this drop in both the films has come due to Tuesday being a working day. They will see an increase in their earnings again in the coming weekend. On Tuesday, the occupancy of the Hindi version of Salaar was 30.37%. Whereas Dinky's occupancy was 22.28%.
Rajkumar Hirani's film Donkey was released on 21 December. Whereas Salaar directed by Prashant Neel was released in theaters on 22 December.
