Donkey close to becoming Shahrukh's third biggest film: Today it will overtake Chennai Express; Total worldwide collection is 422 crores

Shahrukh Khan's film Dunky has so far made a worldwide collection of Rs 422.90 crore. With this it has become Shahrukh's fourth highest grossing film. Today i.e. on Saturday, it will become Shahrukh's third biggest film, leaving behind the earnings of Chennai Express.

Chennai Express had a lifetime collection of Rs 423 crore. Jawan is at number one with Rs 1152 crore. Whereas Pathan is at second place with Rs 1050.8 crore.

Donkey's domestic collection is more than 200 crores
It's been 16 days since Dunky was released. The film has earned decent earnings in these 16 days. The domestic collection of the film has reached Rs 208.67 crore. On Friday the film collected Rs 2.20 crore. There may be a jump in the film's earnings on Saturday and Sunday.

This year, two of Shahrukh's films have collected more than Rs 1000 crore. According to this, Dinky has definitely been left behind. Although its budget is Rs 110 crore, accordingly the film has already got the title of hit.

All the previous films of Rajkumar Hirani have been superhit.

Salaar made worldwide collection of Rs 650 crore
Prabhas starrer Salaar, which released a day after Dunky, has now made a worldwide collection of Rs 650 crore. Apart from this, it has also made a domestic collection of Rs 381.75 crore. Of this, Rs 211.45 crore has come in Telugu language. Whereas Rs 136.25 crore has been earned from Hindi language.

2023 will be in the name of Shahrukh and Bollywood films
The year 2023 was in the name of Shahrukh Khan. If we talk about Indian films making the highest collection in 2023, Shahrukh's two films are on the top. Ranbir Kapoor's film Animal is at number three. Gadar-2 is on the fourth place and Vijay starrer film Leo is on the fifth place. These figures show that Bollywood films have overtaken South films in terms of earnings in 2023.
