A four-day senior men's category state level Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay boxing competition was organized from 2 January 2023 at the Late Dori Lal Agarwal Sports Stadium in Bareilly. The dominance of the city's boxers was seen in this competition. Players of Kanpur brought glory to the city by winning five medals.
