Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut said on Tuesday that she wants to make a film on Bilkis Bano, the rape victim of 2002 Gujarat riots. The actress said that she has been doing research work on this story for three years. Kangana also said that she has not received the support of any big studio or OTT platform for this project.
Kangana said that she has been researching the story of Bilkis Bano for 3 years.

Kangana tweeted and said, 'I want to make a film on this story. I also have a script ready which I have prepared after researching for three years, but Netflix, Prime Video and other big studios have replied to me that they have clear guidelines that they do not make so-called politically motivated films.
She said- Some OTTs are going through bad times.
The actress further said- 'Jio Cinema has said that we do not work with Kangana because she supports BJP. Whereas Ji himself is going through a bad phase. In such a situation, what options do I have left?

Bilkis Bano was gang-raped by 11 people during the 2002 riots in Gujarat. Bilkis was pregnant at that time. On August 15, 2022, the Gujarat government released 11 convicts. This decision of the state government was canceled by the Supreme Court on Monday. For this reason this case is once again in discussion.
