In an exclusive conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, he revealed many things related to the film.

First thought of the title 'Atal', then finalized 'Main Atal Hoon'
Sandeep Singh said- Earlier I had thought that the title of the film would be 'Atal'. But it felt that just writing 'Atal' seemed a bit insulting, because Atal ji was a distinguished person. Then thought of giving such a name which people would consider as their own. Then the name 'Main Atal Hoon' came to the fore.

The film has been made keeping in mind the sentiments of Atal ji.
'This film has been made keeping in mind Atal ji's childhood, upbringing, RSS training, his thinking, personality, his poems, neighboring countries, opposition, fights, love and his feelings for the people. In the film, the role of Atal ji is played by Pankaj Tripathi and the role of Atal ji's father is played by Piyush Mishra. There are many other actors in the film.

A team of 7 to 8 people was formed for research.
'A team of 7 to 8 people was formed for the story research of the film. All these people went to Balrampur to meet people related to Atal ji, extract news from newspapers, get information from sites. His poems have also been included in the film. The first song in the film is written by Atal ji. It was composed by Salim-Sulaiman and sung by Sonu Nigam. There are a total of five songs in the film. According to the scene, sometimes matters of country, sometimes love, sometimes sorrow have been told through songs.

Pankaj Tripathi captured the look, personality, voice and tone well.
'To be honest, Pankaj Tripathi was the first choice for the role of Atal ji. Couldn't think of anyone other than him. If he had refused, the film might not have been made. Pankaj ji also loves Atal ji very much. This is the first film to which he said yes without even listening to the script. He is a very good friend of mine.

He trusted me, thanks for that. Pankaj ji himself used to buy many books on Atal ji and watch videos of his speeches and poems. He observed them for at least a year, then came to shoot. At that time, Pankaj ji had gained weight for a film, so he had reduced his diet during 'Main Atal Hoon'. He used to take only light food like khichdi, curd and buttermilk and used to shoot for 15-15 hours.

10 to 12 days in Mumbai and the rest of the shooting took place outside
'The shooting schedule of the film was 60 days. The film has been shot at locations like Mumbai, Lucknow, Balrampur, Kanpur and Delhi. 10 to 12 days were shot in Mumbai and the rest of the shooting was done at outside locations. As far as I know, the film is releasing on 2000 screens. However, the film has not yet received the certificate from the Censor Board.

It is surprising that a film has not been made on Atal ji till date.
'I was surprised why no filmmaker thought of making a film on Atal ji for so many years. The name of my company is Legend Studio. As per the name, I have made films like 'Aligarh', 'Sarabjit', 'Bhoomi', 'Jhund', 'PM Modi' and 'Safed' and now I am coming with films like 'Main Atal Hoon' and 'Swatantra Veer Savarkar'. Am.

See, Atal ji's life was full of poems, which he wrote. Bought the rights of the book. After that did research for two years. Then started the process of making the film.

I make films not for any party, but according to time and name.
'Once upon a time, films like 'Deewar', 'Trishul', 'Ram Lakhan', 'Saajan', 'Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi' were running. Now is the time for films like 'Pushpa' and 'Kantara'. There comes a time for everything and this is the time of truth.

As a filmmaker, I feel that there is no need for me to make films like 'Heropanti', 'Ganpat', 'Raniganj', 'Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan', because people are already watching films like 'War', 'Pathan' Jawan. . People think that I am making films for BJP, but I do not make films for any party, but as per the name, I make inspirational films, which are very difficult to make. Now people can think of this as whatever they want. This is not a party's film, it is a man's film.
