In Kaushambi, the court of Additional District Judge VII Shireen Zaidi has sentenced the accused of raping a teenage girl to 7 years of imprisonment. While imposing a fine on the culprit, the court has ordered half of the Rs 30,000 to be given to the victim.

The incident took place in a village of Puramufti police station area in July 2015.
