The Police Commissioner reviewed the traffic with police personnel at the Control and Command Centre.

Now Kanpur Police has taken command to remove encroachment at the intersections. On the orders of Police Commissioner Akhil Kumar, the police has formed an enforcement squad. It will work together with the Municipal Corporation to organize the intersections. 14 enforcement teams have been formed for 14 major intersections of the city. Their command has been handed over to the ACP of the area.

ACP will patrol the intersections, one in each enforcement team.
