In an interview with Pinkvilla, Anil Sharma told that the first round of paperwork for the film has been done. After the release of Gadar-2, the makers of the film had started working on the story of Gadar-3. Let us tell you that like the first two parts of Gadar, the story of the third part will also be based on the India-Pakistan war. However, he says that this time the story will be different from before. The shooting of the film may start in 2025.
Talking about the total earnings of Gadar-2, the film had collected Rs 525.45 crore at the domestic level. This proved to be the biggest film of Sunny Deol's career so far.
Tara Singh will come back again – Anil Sharma
Anil Sharma told in the interview that, yes Tara Singh will return. Because we have already prepared the basic idea of Gadar-3. Anyway, right now I am working on another film with Nana Patekar and Utkarsh. He further said that my next film will be Gadar-3 only. I will soon start working on the final script of the film.
In Gadar, the character of Tara Singh's son Jeet was played by director Anil's son Utkarsh. Utkarsh has also been seen playing the role of Sunny's son in Gadar-2. He will also be seen in Gadar-3. Let us tell you, Sunny Deol will start shooting for Lahore: 1947 in February. After this Sunny can shoot his part in the film Ramayana. There have also been reports of the next part of the 1997 blockbuster film Border coming out.
