In Mawana, Meerut, the Service Lance team and Mawana Police had an encounter with three criminals carrying a reward of Rs 25,000 each. One criminal was injured after being shot by the police. The police arrested one criminal, while the third criminal escaped by dodging the police. The police has admitted the injured criminal to CHC for treatment. According to the police, the three miscreants were absconding in connection with the robbery of a collection agent that took place in the month of November.
