On Sunday evening, a speeding dumper hit a young man riding a bike on the Varanasi-Ghazipur highway. After the collision, the bike along with the driver got stuck behind the dumper. After the accident, the driver increased the speed of the truck and started running towards Sarnath. The local people gave chase but dragged the deceased till Sandaha Bypass, where the bike got separated when the truck was parked. Police arrived on information, recovered the body and informed the family.
