Schools will open in Gorakhpur from Tuesday after several consecutive days of holidays. However, managers of all schools will have to take weather related precautions. DM Krishna Karunesh has said in the order issued that schools from primary class to 12th will be able to operate from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm. During this period, the school management will have to make all the children sit inside the class only. Besides, arrangements for heaters and blowers will also have to be made in the classes to avoid cold.

This order applies to all government, aided, self finance institutions of the district.
