The makers of the film 'Hanuman' have announced its second part 'Jai Hanuman' on 22 January, the inauguration day of Ram Mandir. Filmmaker Prashant Verma made this announcement by sharing two pictures on social media.
The makers have shared this first look poster of 'Jai Hanuman', the sequel of 'Hanuman'.
One of these pictures is of the first look poster of the film in which Hanuman is seen taking the blessings of Lord Shri Ram. The second picture is of director Prashant himself who is standing in front of the temple with the script. The makers have started the pre-production work of this film.
Director Prashant Verma reached the temple to worship the script of the second part.
'Hanuman' beats 'Guntur Karam' in domestic collection
In terms of box office collection, 'Hanuman' has earned well even on the 11th day. On its second Monday, the film collected Rs 7 crore 50 lakh. With this, now the total domestic collection of Hanuman has reached Rs 139.55 crore. Even in terms of total domestic collection, 'Hanuman' has overtaken Mahesh Babu's superstar film 'Guntur Karam'. This is a huge achievement for a low-budget film with no superstars.
World wide collection of 'Hanuman' 215 crores
The world wide collection of 'Hanuman' has crossed Rs 200 crore. In 11 days, this film has done a business of Rs 215 crore worldwide.
Even in terms of worldwide collection, 'Hanuman' is only Rs 16 crore behind 'Guntur Karam'.
'Guntur Karam' has earned Rs 231 crore worldwide
On the other hand, Mahesh Babu starrer 'Guntur Karam' did a business of only Rs 1 crore 25 lakh on second Monday. This is the lowest collection of this film till now. Now the total domestic collection of this film has reached Rs 119 crore. Worldwide it has done a business of Rs 231 crore.
There was a jump in the earnings of the film 'Main Atal Hoon' on Sunday. On Monday it again dropped by 75%.
'Main Atal Hoon' could earn only Rs 80 lakh on the fourth day
Amidst all this, Pankaj Tripathi's film 'Main Atal Hoon' did a business of Rs 80 lakh on the fourth day. The film collected Rs 5 crore 65 lakh on its first weekend. Now its total collection has reached Rs 6 crore 45 lakh.
