'Maidan', stuck for two years, will clash with 'Bade Miyan-Chhote Miyan': Prithviraj's two films will be released on Eid, Jr NTR's 'Devara' will release on April 5.

The teaser of Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starrer film 'Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan' has been released on Wednesday. This film will be released on the occasion of Eid in April this year. Apart from Akshay and Tiger, South's superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran will also be seen in it. On the other hand, on Tuesday, Ajay Devgan also announced that his much awaited film 'Maidan' will be released on Eid this year. In such a situation, a clash between 'Maidan' and 'Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan' is almost certain.

Release date of 'Maidan' has been announced 5 times in 2 years
The makers of 'Maidan' started its shooting in 2019, when it was announced that the film would be released in theaters on 11 December 2020. However, due to Covid, its shooting got stuck for one to one and a half years. In May 2021, the set of the film was also completely destroyed due to Cyclone Toute.

The makers of 'Maidan' have recently shared the new poster of the film and announced its new release date.

There was going to be a clash with 'RRR' also
After this, there were preparations to release it on Dussehra in 2021 but then the makers postponed it again due to the clash with 'RRR'. After this, the makers had planned to release it in theaters on June 3, 2022, but it was not released due to non-completion of post-production work.

The film was also scheduled to release on 23 June 2023. The makers had also released its teaser but due to some reasons it was postponed again. Now finally it is going to be released on Eid this year.

Last year, the teaser of Ajay starrer Maidaan was also released.

Ajay will play the role of legendary football coach Syed Abdul Rahim.
'Maidan' has been directed by 'Badhaai Hae' fame director Amit Ravindranath Sharma. Boney Kapoor and Zee Studios are its producers. In the film, Ajay will be seen playing the role of legendary football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, who is also known as the Father of Indian Football. Apart from Ajay, Priyamani, Gajraj Rao and Bengali actor Rudranil Ghosh will also be seen in the film.

Prithviraj's two films will clash on Eid
The special thing is that this year on Eid, there will not be a clash only between 'Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan' and Maidan. In fact, two films of superstar Prithviraj will also be released simultaneously. On one hand, he is playing the role of a villain in 'Bade Miyan Chhoto Miyan'. On the same day, his film 'Aadu Jeevitam' is also to be released, in which he will be seen in the lead role.

Prithviraj's 'Aadu Jeevitam' will also be released worldwide on April 10.

'Aadu Jeevitam' took 14 years to make
The story of this film, made in 14, is based on the Malayalam novel published by the same name, written by Benjamin. It is based on a real story. The story revolves around a Malayali migrant labourer, Najeeb Mohammed, who goes to Saudi Arabia for a job and gets lost there. The owner of a farm makes him his slave and makes him graze goats.
