Release date of 'Maidan' has been announced 5 times in 2 years
The makers of 'Maidan' started its shooting in 2019, when it was announced that the film would be released in theaters on 11 December 2020. However, due to Covid, its shooting got stuck for one to one and a half years. In May 2021, the set of the film was also completely destroyed due to Cyclone Toute.

The film was also scheduled to release on 23 June 2023. The makers had also released its teaser but due to some reasons it was postponed again. Now finally it is going to be released on Eid this year.

'Maidan' has been directed by 'Badhaai Hae' fame director Amit Ravindranath Sharma. Boney Kapoor and Zee Studios are its producers.
