Preparations for Republic Day have been completed in Barabanki. High alert has been issued in the district regarding 26 January. The SP has instructed all the police station in-charges and outpost in-charges to remain vigilant in the area. In the same sequence, before the Republic Day, the police took stock of the security arrangements by conducting a checking campaign at every nook and corner of the district including the railway station and bus stand. During this period the suspects were also investigated.
