Police will now investigate the matter of writing contracts with the Transport Corporation on private buses in Gorakhpur. With the help of ITMS, the numbers of suspicious buses will be extracted and sent to the roadways. If during investigation any bus is found entering the city with a fake contract written on it, then the police will take action against its driver by filing a case of forgery and sending him to jail. The SSP has instructed his subordinates to find out the kingpin of the fake contract.

To deal with the traffic jam in the city, police have started using private buses.
