In the Muzaffarnagar court, the CBI SP was cross-examined by the defense side in the case of floating the body of an agitator killed in police firing during the movement for formation of Uttarakhand state in the Ganga canal to destroy evidence. Four people, including the then Inspector in-charge of Khatauli police station, were made accused regarding the incident. Now the court has fixed February 16 for the next hearing in this case.
