Parking was built by spending crores of rupees under Smart City. But now they are of no use.

Preparations are being made to restart the vehicle parking operated by Kanpur Municipal Corporation. The Municipal Corporation has also started a survey regarding this. They were banned due to lack of seating, drinking water and toilet facilities in the parking lot.

Parking is being operated only at Atal Ghat and Municipal Corporation Headquarters.
