An accused escaped from police custody in Bijnor on Saturday. The policemen arrested him in the case of illegal weapons and were taking him to jail on the orders of the court. The accused was arrested by Badhapur police under Arms Act. There was panic in the police department due to the absconding of the accused. Several police teams are engaged to search the accused.
