Two cattle smugglers were injured in a police encounter in Kushinagar on Saturday. The police team arrested 3 smugglers including the injured cattle smugglers and rescued 30 cows being smuggled in a container vehicle and being taken for slaughter. Police have also recovered illegal weapons from the smugglers. The encounter took place in the sugarcane field near police post Bahadupur Mata Temple of Tarayasujan police station area.
