Recently 'Bigg Boss OTT' fame Manisha Rani has bought her first luxury car Mercedes Benz A-Class. The price of this car is approximately Rs 35 lakh. Besides, Manisha also bought a luxurious house in Bihar, which is also worth lakhs.
Manisha, who is seen as a contestant in the reality show 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11', is an influencer and social media star from Munger, Bihar. He has more than 9 million followers on social media. This week in 'Star Talks' Manisha shared many stories of her life with us. You also read these stories in the words of Manisha herself…
When dad wouldn't let her dance, she ran away from home.
I was very fond of dancing since childhood but my father was very strict. However, I was determined that I would not sacrifice my dreams. I was 16 years old and wanted to learn dance but my father was not giving me permission. One day I wrote a letter to my father and left home with a friend and ran away to Kolkata.
If I had not run away from home, I would have suffocated to death.
When I ran away from home to fulfill my dreams, only one thing was running in my mind – 'What could be worse than what is going on? Who knows, because of my hard work something good may happen in the lives of all of us. we will see whatever happens.' Just thinking here, I stepped out of the house. If I had not taken this step, I would have suffocated to death. My elder sister supported my decision.
Papa was not wrong in his place
Today when I look back, I do not blame my father. Actually, he was absolutely right in his place. We were from middle class background. We did not have money to spend on dance etc. No one in our entire family had ever been a part of dance or glamor field, so father was scared at that time. They were afraid of what the society would say if something went wrong. Will the family members point fingers at him?
Today papa feels proud of me
Papa is very happy today. He feels proud of me. I am the only girl in my city who appeared on national television, was a part of 'Bigg Boss' and is so popular on social media. This is a big thing for the people of my Munger district (Bihar).
Not even a day passes when people do not call Papa Manisha Rani's father. There was a time when no one would ask our family members, but now the district magistrate, magistrate and big businessmen of Munger come forward and talk to my father. Big people introduce their family members to my family. This is a matter of pride for Papa. They say whatever my daughter did… she did good.
Many people gave wrong offers in the beginning
My start in Mumbai was not good. When I went for auditions, many people used to give me wrong offers. However, I had already decided that I would never take any short cut. I will not deny that people approached me for doing wrong things. Yes, I consider myself lucky that I escaped the casting couch.
People used to ask to meet at the hotel late at night
It was a long time dream of participating in 'Bigg Boss'. I was also trying for 2-3 years to enter 'Bigg Boss OTT'. Meanwhile, I encountered many liars who asked to meet me at the hotel late at night.
Someone used to say that we have sent your name to the channel, approval has come from it. I too would happily tell this at home, but would feel very disappointed when I found out that someone had fooled me. After this I used to cry a lot alone. The poor family members also felt very bad.
Last time, when I signed the contract, I was still a little scared. I felt that I might get fooled this time too and that is why I did not tell anything at home. When only two days were left to enter the show, I told the family.
Look, Manisha Rani's Mercedes is coming
I got a lot of fame from Bigg Boss. Recently I bought my first car. To be honest, I don't understand much about the car brand. Yes, the only thing I had decided was to buy my own car. After 'Bigg Boss', I used to travel in auto due to which I did not have any problem but people around me told me to take a car now.
I started saving for the car. Earlier I was going to buy a Harrier car worth Rs. 16 lakhs but then my brother said that when you are buying it, then buy such a car which people will see. After waiting for a few more days, I took the Mercedes. So that people can say that look, Manisha Rani's Mercedes is coming.
Now he has also bought a big house in Bihar. After 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' ends, I will go to my hometown for house registration.
The journey of 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' is very different
The journey of 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' is very different. After joining, I realized that it is easy to watch shows on TV sitting at home but when you come as a contestant then you realize how difficult it is. Something similar happened with me too. However, there is something new to learn every day. I may never get this opportunity again. That's why I want to enjoy this journey completely. Many times I thought of leaving the show because it is physically very hectic. But my choreographer always keeps motivating me. It was only because of him that I was able to reach this far.
All three judges of the show have a soft corner for me in their hearts.
All three judges of the show – Malaika Arora, Arshad Warsi and Farah Khan have a soft corner for me in their hearts. I have noticed that when other contestants' performance is not up to par, the judges' comments are a bit harsh. They are even told that your performance was not good but this does not happen with me.
My performance is always praised. The three judges never talk strictly to me. Even if he has to say something, he says it to the choreographer, not to me. I think all three judges respect me the most. I consider myself very lucky.
She used to be very disappointed but never stopped working hard. It is said that if you love something with all your heart, then the entire universe tries to bring it to you. Something similar happened with me. My childhood dream was fulfilled by appearing in 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa'.
Even today, many times I wonder whether what is happening is really true? I still remember that in my childhood I used to go secretly to learn dance. Many times he secretly auditioned for dance shows but was never selected. There were many disappointments but I never stopped working hard.
I am single, Elvish Yadav is only my friend
Elvish Yadav is my one and only friend. Now if people say anything on social media, what can one do? I am single. If someone comes into my life, I will definitely share it with my fans.
If a girl wants to become a dancer-actress, she does not get support.
I have noticed one thing in Bihar, especially in my hometown. When someone's daughter becomes a doctor, engineer or teacher, their parents tell everyone about them with great pride. His example is given. Whereas if a girl wants to become a dancer or actress, she does not get so much support.
I want to support those girls. I would like to request all the parents to allow their children to go to dance classes in the same way, just as they allow their children to go to tuitions for studies. Trust your girls. Soon I will do something for these girls.
