Abhishek Bachchan is celebrating his 48th birthday today. Father Amitabh Bachchan has shared a post for son Abhishek and congratulated him on his birthday. Amitabh has shared a picture of Abhishek's film 'Ghoomar' on his Instagram account. While sharing the post, he wrote – 'My prayers, my praise and love for you Abhishek.. You make me feel very proud.. Most worthy.. Not just this, but many more past, present and future.'

Abhishek's sister Shweta Nanda has also shared a post for her brother. While sharing her childhood picture with her brother Abhishek, Shweta wrote – Only you know this and I know this. It's a big day for you little brother – hope you enjoy the song. Love you.

Niece Navya Naveli also shared the post

On Abhishek Bachchan's birthday, niece Navya Naveli has also shared a love-filled post for him. In the old picture shared, Navya and her brother Agastya Nanda are seen with maternal uncle Abhishek. While sharing the picture, Navya wrote- Everyone's favorite Happy Birthday. Especially my favourite.

Abhishek made his debut with the film Refugee

Abhishek made his debut in the year 2000 with the film Refugee, which was a flop. Till 2004, 20 of his films were released back to back, out of which 17 films flopped. After this, Abhishek's career was full of ups and downs. From 2020, Abhishek turned to OTT and not only proved himself in acting but also won an award for the tenth film released on OTT. After this he was also seen in the film Ghoomar. Now Junior Bachchan has three films.

Apart from acting, he is also focusing on business. He had invested in Kabaddi team-Jaipur Pink Panthers in 2014, whose valuation is around Rs 100 crore. Abhishek's net worth is approximately Rs 280 crore.

Abhishek was born on February 5, 1976 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He was diagnosed with dyslexia at the age of 9. Children suffering from this disease have trouble writing and understanding words. They are slow learners and cannot learn things quickly. Aamir Khan had made 'Taare Zameen Par' on this disease.

Abhishek studied at Jamnabai Nursey School, Bombay Scottish School, Mumbai. Apart from this, he has also studied in Vasant Vihar, Delhi and Aiglon College, Switzerland. Then he also went to Boston University for graduation, but left his studies before completing his degree and returned back to Mumbai.
