There was a fight between students and shopkeepers over asking for donations for Basant Panchami near Vishwanath Temple in BHU. On receiving information, BHU security personnel arrived and pacified the angry shopkeepers. Angered by the incident, shopkeepers closed their shops on Sunday also. The controversy of forced donation collection has been going on for the last several days. The shopkeepers were protesting by closing their shops for the last two days.
