Despite the ban in the state, products made from thermocol are being used indiscriminately. On Monday, the Municipal Corporation Enforcement Squad seized plates made of thermocol. These were being sent in large quantities to Jaunpur, Gonda and Lucknow. All three trucks were caught by the enforcement squad on the highway between Bhaunti to Jajmau.

Despite the ban, it was sent from the factory located in Raniya.
