According to reports, the reason for divorce was Italian model Rosa Catalano, with whom Saif had an affair. For divorce, Saif had to pay an alimony of Rs 5 crore to Amrita, but due to lack of money, he could pay only Rs 2.5 crore. Apart from this, Saif had given Amrita Rs 1 lakh per month for the expenses of his son Ibrahim until he turned 18.
