Sonbhadra Police has once again seized a big consignment of ganja. In the joint action of police and SOG team of Karma police station, during checking from SP petrol pump, ganja worth Rs 11 lakh was recovered from a DCM and a car. During this period, the police have also arrested 5 inter state smugglers. The smugglers were carrying a total of 1 quintal and 10 kg of ganja hidden in vegetable leaves. This ganja was to go to Jaunpur via Mirzapur, Varanasi. At present, legal action is being taken by registering a case under NDPS Act at Karma police station in relation to the recovery and arrest.
