In Hardoi, CDO Soumya Gururani stopped the salary of more than a dozen teachers posted in the school until the NIPUN target was not achieved. Chief Development Officer Soumya Gururani had inspected the composite school Chand Behta adjacent to the city on Friday afternoon. During inspection, 15 teachers including the headmaster were found deployed. Out of 86 children registered in the school, only 28 children were found proficient, whereas the target of proficiency was 100 percent by December 2023.
