Jeetendra was happy for Ranbir Kapoor after he won the Maharashtrian of the Year award on Thursday. The event, which took place on Thursday, honoured Ranbir for his impressive work in the field of cinema. After the event, Ranbir was seen escorting Jeetendra to his car. The duo was mobbed by the cameras. In a video shared by a paparazzo online, Ranbir was seen ensuring Jeetendra was not harmed and sat in his safely.
After Ranbir dropped Jeetendra to his car, the veteran actor planted a kiss on Ranbir’s cheek and showered him with praises. He seemingly congratulated him on his win. “You’ve done a wonderful job. So beautiful, lovely, keep it up. Jai Mata Di,” Jeetendra said before he asked the security team to escort Ranbir to his car amid the mob.

Ranbir had a memorable 2023. The actor had two releases in the year. He began the year with Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, co-starring Shraddha Kapoor, and followed it with the blockbuster film Animal. The actor presented two starkly different shades on the big screen, impressing fans and audience. The actor has been nominated for Best Actor at the News18 Showsha Reel Awards 2024 as well. Sai Pallavi has been roped in for the role of Sita. Earlier, Alia Bhatt was in talks for the role of Sita but she backed out due to dates-related issues. KGF star Yash is also likely to play Ravana in the movie whereas Sunny Deol has reportedly been locked for the role of Hanuman. Bobby Deol and Vijay Sethupathi are also reportedly in talks for the roles of Kumbhakarna and Vibhashana respectively.
