The discussion about Ranveer Singh being seen in the role of Shaktimaan has gained a lot of momentum. According to reports, he will be seen as the lead-super hero in this franchise. But, if Mukesh Khanna is to be believed, this is just a rumour.
This is all a market rumor
Mukesh Khanna said to Dainik Bhaskar, 'Look, all this is a market rumour. Work on this project is currently going on. I have a contract with Sony Pictures and hence can't talk much about it. However, we will release an official statement in this regard soon.
Siddhant Chaturvedi's name also came in the news
By the way, before Ranveer, the name of actor Siddhant Chaturvedi also came in the news. However, even at that time Mukesh Khanna had termed it as a rumour. The actor had said in the interview, 'Everyone guesses in their own way. We would like to be associated with that actor whose words are listened to by all, children and old alike. At present there is no such actor in my view. When we get our actor, we will definitely announce it. Regarding the TV show 'Shaktimaan 2', he further said, 'Preparations for Shaktimaan 2 have started. This show has a huge fan following. For the last many years, people have been asking me, when are you bringing Shaktimaan again? It is for these fans that I decided to bring Season 2 of Shaktimaan. People have a lot of expectations from me and I will definitely live up to their expectations. I have a lot to tell people but I will present it like a film. I did not want to bring Shaktimaan on TV again. We will present this project in three parts.
The film Shaktimaan was announced 2 years ago.
In 2022, Sony Pictures had announced the film 'Shaktiman' through a video. If reports are to be believed, this will be a mega budget film, which will be made with a budget of Rs 200-300 crore. This film will be based on the superhero character of the popular show Shaktimaan in the year 1997.
Telecast in 1997, show closed suddenly after 104 episodes
