The high school and intermediate examinations of UP Board will continue till March 9. More than 55 lakh candidates are set to appear in the board exams
The UP high school and intermediate board examinations are set to commence today, February 22. The state government has made extensive arrangements to conduct cheating-free examinations. For the first time, a command and control room has been created by the UP Board at the board headquarters Prayagraj. Similar control rooms have been created in all the five regional offices, which have been connected to the control room of the headquarters.
All 75 districts of 18 divisions are being monitored directly from the UP Board Headquarters through the Command and Control Room. From here, not only the examination centres are being monitored, but the room made to keep papers and answer sheets is also being monitored closely. According to UP Board Secretary Dibya Kant Shukla, more than a hundred employees have been deployed in three shifts in this command and control room.
Toll free numbers 18001805310 and 18001805312 have been issued for complaints of cheating in the examination. A team of officers has been deployed for 24-hour monitoring of the room of question papers. According to the Secretary of the UP Board, technology has been used to stop copying. Shukla has also added that strict action will be taken if any question paper is circulated on WhatsApp or other social media after or before the end of the exam.
The high school and intermediate examinations of UP Board will continue till March 9. More than 55 lakh candidates are set to appear in the board exams. These examinations will be conducted at 8265 centres in the state. 566 government schools, 3479 financed and 4220 non-financed schools have been made examination centres. According to UP Board Secretary, 29,47,311 candidates including 1571184 boys and 1376127 girls will appear in the high school examination. Whereas in the Intermediate examination, 25,77,997 candidates including 1428323 boys and 1149674 girls will appear. A total of 55,25,308 candidates will appear in the high school and intermediate examinations.
