An inter-state gang involved in fraud of crores of rupees by opening bank accounts at fake addresses in Varanasi has been exposed. Varanasi Police has today arrested 3 criminals involved in this case and sent them to jail. Cash along with 12 mobile phones, 52 ATM cards, 57 passbooks, 88 checkbooks and 12 SIM cards have been recovered from them. Sunil Kumar (26) of Hathras, Ritendra Kumar (26) of Agra and Shivam Kumar (19) have been arrested from Rahul Vihar Colony of Agra. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) T. Saravanan and Assistant Commissioner of Police (Crime) Gaurav Kumar informed that the criminals have also confessed to their crimes.
