The state's Urban Development Department has nominated Saharanpur Municipal Corporation for the award in the Swachh Vasant competition. This competition was organized from 12 January to 24 February 2024 at all the corporations, municipalities and Nagar Panchayat level of the state. Apart from Saharanpur, among the 17 municipal corporations, Lucknow and Kanpur have also been nominated for the award.
