The foundation stone of redevelopment of 554 railway stations and 1500 road over bridges and underpasses of Indian Railways under the Amrit Station Scheme was laid and inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi through video conferencing in Ghazipur. Under this, the foundation stone of redevelopment at Ghazipur City Railway Station at a cost of Rs 16.63 crore was also laid.

BSP MP Afzal Ansari remained on the stage.
