Pankaj Udhas's love story was filmy: The family had objections due to difference of religion, wife Farida wanted the marriage to happen as per the wishes of the family.

The love story of ghazal singer Pankaj Udhas, who bid goodbye to the world at the age of 72, was quite filmy. Their love story started in the 70s. The thing was such that there lived a girl in Pankaj's neighborhood whose name was Farida. Pankaj lost his heart the moment he saw her. Farida was an air hostess while Pankaj was pursuing graduation at that time.

A neighbor friend of Pankaj had introduced them to the meeting. Both of them became friends and started meeting each other. After being friends for a few months, they fell in love with each other. But the biggest problem was that the religion of both was different.

Due to different religions, their relationship faced difficulty in progressing. There was not much problem from the side of Pankaj's family. But Farida's family had a lot of objections. He was not ready for this marriage. The reason for this was that there was a ban in their Parsi community on marrying outside their caste.

After a long wait, the marriage took place with the wishes of the family.

For this reason, Pankaj and Farida decided that they would get married only when they got the blessings of both their parents. Both of them never gave up. On Farida's request, Pankaj went to her house and talked about his relationship with her father. Farida's father was a retired police officer, hence Pankaj was very scared, but he won her heart with his words.

At last Farida's family had to agree. Both their families agreed and Pankaj Udhas married Farida on 11 February 1982. Both of them were living a happy life for years. But now Pankaj left Farida. Pankaj Udhas and Farida have two daughters named Reva Udhas and Nayaab Udhas.

Yesterday i.e. on 26th February, Pankaj Udhas died at the age of 72. Information about his demise was given by his daughter Nayab on social media. Due to difficulty in breathing, his family admitted him to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai 10 days ago. Where he breathed his last at 11 am on Monday.

Let us tell you, Pankaj Udhas has three brothers. Pankaj was the youngest among these three. Both his brothers Manhar Udhas and Nirmal Udhas are in the music field. Therefore, Pankaj's inclination also went in this direction. Pankaj has sung many hit songs in his career. The song Chitti Aayi Hai is one of his most famous songs till date.

First album released under the name 'Aahat'

Pankaj Udhas released his first album named 'Aahat' in 1980. As soon as her first album was launched, she started getting singing offers from Bollywood. He launched the albums 'Tarannum' in 1981 and 'Mehfil' in 1982.
