In Mau district, an important meeting was held under the chairmanship of District Officer Praveen Mishra in view of the preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. This meeting was held in the auditorium located at the Collectorate with all the officials related to the elections. During the meeting, the District Magistrate directed all the Sub District Officers to inspect the booths with the lowest voting percentage in their respective assembly constituencies.

He sought to increase voting by finding out the reasons for low voting.
