NCB officer Sameer Wankhede spoke for the first time on many issues in the drugs case of Shahrukh Khan's son Aryan Khan. Sameer has also said a lot about Shahrukh and Aryan. Sameer was asked how he feels when a famous person like Shahrukh talks to him personally. In response to this he said that he would not like to comment anything about them.
Sameer Wankhede was asked that if his personal chats with Shahrukh Khan were leaked then why the NCB officials were not informed about it. On this he clearly refused to answer. He claimed that he did not know that Shahrukh was so famous. He also said that he has no regrets about anything in his life.
During the interview with Lallantop, he was asked whether you do not know about the stardom of Shahrukh Khan? Wankhede replied. If you ask me about 'real heroes' like Modi ji, or Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, I would prefer. However, during the entire conversation, Sameer Wankhede did not talk about Shahrukh Khan anywhere.
Let us tell you, Shahrukh Khan's son Aryan Khan was arrested in a drugs case. However he was later released. The one who made the most headlines in this case was NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede who was accused of taking bribe.

Sameer Wankhede had raided Cordelia Cruises going from Mumbai to Goa on October 2, 2021 after receiving information about a rave party. Shahrukh Khan's son Aryan Khan was arrested from here. After this, Aryan remained in police custody for 26 days, during which he was also sent to Arthur Road Jail.
Due to lack of concrete evidence against Aryan, the court released him on bail on October 28. Arbaaz Merchant, arrested in the case, had testified in the court that Aryan did not have drugs.
NDPS Act 1985 and the provision of punishment in it?
Section 8: Knowingly purchasing or using any intoxicant that violates this law. A case is filed on the basis of recovered drugs.
Section 20: In Aryan's case, the quantity of charas seized falls in the 'small' category under the NDPS Act. The maximum punishment under this section can be 6 months or a fine of Rs 10,000 or both.
Section 27: This section applies to the consumption of banned drugs. There is a provision of maximum punishment of one year in this.
Section 35: In this section it is decided what was the mental condition and intention of the accused in possession of drugs. The accused has to prove that his intention was not to violate the law. He was not aware that the drug he was carrying was banned.
What types of drugs have been found on the cruise?
According to the arrest memo, NCB has recovered Rs 1.33 lakh in cash along with 13 grams of cocaine, 5 grams of MD (Mephedrone), 21 grams of hashish and 22 MDMA (Ecstasy) tablets from Aryan on the cruise. Apart from Aryan, NCB has detained Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Vikrant Chhokar, Gomit Chopra and Arbaaz Merchant.
