Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested Shivam Gupta, president of Dr. Om Prakash Gupta Institute of Management and Technology, Hardoi and three other educational institutions from the airport in Lucknow on Friday. ED's Prayagraj sub zonal office took this action under the provisions of PMLA 2002 on charges of involvement in the scholarship scam. ED had issued a look out circular against Shivam.
