Lucknow Police will take remand and interrogate Shivam Gupta, Chairman of Farrukhabad-based Dr. OP Group of Institutions, in the scholarship scam. The SIT investigating this case has found strong evidence that like Hajiya, many scholarship scams have taken place here too. The accused chairman was arrested by the ED on February 29 and sent to jail. In this case, after the ED exposed the scholarship scam, Hazratganj police had registered an FIR against ten institutions on the orders of the government.
