70 shopkeepers of Sewla are upset with the PWD notice. The shopkeepers who have been earning their living from their shops for years do not want to let their shops be demolished at any cost. Shopkeepers held Panchayat on Monday. It was decided that if shops are demolished, compensation will have to be paid. Gwalior Road is being widened from Avantibai intersection Pratappura to Rohta Canal. For this, PWD has given notice to 70 shopkeepers of Sewla to demolish their shops. In this regard, shopkeepers held a Panchayat on Monday. Shopkeepers said that the DM had asked the PWD not to take any action until the registry was checked. The investigation has not been completed yet. Till now no satisfactory reply has been given by the administration. Even after this, the PWD department has again sent notices to the shopkeepers on March 2 regarding the demolition of their shops.
