GAIL (Gas Authority of India Limited) has given relief to the vehicle owners of Varanasi and surrounding districts. GAIL (India) has reduced the price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) by Rs 2.5 per kg to Rs 81.17 per kg. Till now gas was being sold at Rs 83.67 in Banaras. These prices have been implemented from today i.e. Wednesday morning. The company has cited reduction in the production cost of gas as the reason for reducing the prices.
