Bed war has been going on in AIIMS of Purvanchal for 2 years. A senior cardiologist from Sir Sunderlal Hospital of Banaras Hindu University (BHU) will go on a fast unto death from March 8. Leaving the work of OPD, treatment, ward and surgery, he will protest alone in front of the Vice Chancellor's residence. They will demand removal of the Medical Superintendent of the hospital and start treatment on 41 beds. The doctor has threatened, “Until I am removed, I will remain on a fast unto death by stopping treatment at the hospital.”
