Fighter fame actor Rishabh Sahni recently had a special conversation with Dainik Bhaskar. Talking about his preparation for the film, he said that he did not talk to anyone for 5 days to get into his character.

Your character in 'Fighter' has been praised a lot, how are you feeling?

Rishabh Sahni said- Yes, I am feeling very good, when you perform, you hope that people will like your performance. Had to work hard for this character. I felt good that people liked my work a lot. Many people are happy with it and I am very happy.

What did you have to do for your character?

I prepared it in two ways. One is mental and the other is physical. Because in the brief I was given, I was told that I had to look very big, so much so that I could fight everyone alone. For this I hired a fitness coach. After this I formed my own team. I was eating about 7 to 8 times a day and working out for two to two and a half hours.

I worked with an acting coach for mental preparation. To get into the character, I did not talk to anyone for four-four-five days, and we did this 5-6 times in these four-four-five-five days. Apart from that, I was asked to watch war documentaries for the last two-three months. Apart from that I didn't see anything.

How was your experience of working in films?

It was a very amazing experience. Apart from Siddharth sir and Hrithik Kar, everyone was brilliant. Meaning they did not let me feel that this is my first film. I could talk to Siddharth sir openly about anything, we used to discuss everything. Hrithik sir also made me very comfortable. He is such a good actor that he removes the pressure from you as an actor.

Can you tell us something about your and Hrithik's fight sequence? Yes, of course, when we were starting the scene, I was a little nervous that someone might get hurt. I was a little extra scared about Hrithik sir that he might get hit and he had sensed it.

When we were rehearsing for the first time. Then he himself said that I know that you are nervous, but you keep one thing in mind that your job is to punch and my job is to escape, then he said that you do not take tension, even if you pay a little attention, it will be done. He made it very easy that way. After this I openly shot action.

How was the experience of shooting in Kashmir?

Shooting in Kashmir was a challenge in itself. Firstly, my make-up was such that I had to get up first. It was so cold there that it felt bad while reaching the location, but luckily my costumes were such that I had a jacket to wear there. The experience was very beautiful, I was driving in the middle of snow, scenes were happening in the middle of snow.

How important is social media to you?

This has become important. But I am not that fond of social media. I didn't feel like uploading things and telling things in front of people. But after doing the film, I have realized how important it is because so many people have messaged me that my journey has inspired them. So now I feel that this is a very important platform, so if I tell people then more people will be inspired.
