Kangana Ranaut compared Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel to Lord Shiva at the trailer launch.
Kangana had said in the trailer launch event – We have always read about Mahatma Gandhi and Pandit Nehru in our books. But there are many great people we don't know about. Like Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. He is compared to Lord Shiva. Just as Lord Shiva held Sati ji's body parts together, in the same way, the person who held our disintegrating India together after independence is Vallabhbhai Patel.

Hyderabad got independence after 396 days of India's independence. This happened because the Nizam of Hyderabad did not want to go with India. But the people there wanted to come with India. Tukde gang claims that we were a state built in pieces. There is a need to show history to such gangs. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel has united India. It is important to make such films so that we do not take our country for granted and can know the history of the country.
