Villagers extinguishing the fire in Gonda.

A fire broke out in Tepra village of Umri Begumganj police station area in Gonda late on Friday night. Due to the fire, 15 thatched houses were burnt to ashes. The villagers allege that when the fire brigade team did not arrive even after hours of giving the information, the villagers brought the fire under control after a lot of effort.

15 houses have been reduced to ashes due to the fire and goods worth lakhs of rupees were kept in the house.
