The finale of the 71st Miss World 2023 among 112 contestants from all over the world will be held today at Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai. The finale will be held in the Jasmine Hallway of the Centre, where there is a seating facility for 25 thousand people simultaneously. At the same time, the finale is going to be telecast live in 100 countries. To make this finale special, about 500 people from many countries like India, England, Ireland, China, Spain have been preparing for the last several months.
Just before the Miss World finale, Dainik Bhaskar's team spoke to Travellin Finn, creative director of the production house Endemol Shine India producing the pageant, finale presenter Megan Young (Miss World 2013) and fashion designer Archana Kochhar. This time there will be Indian tadka in the contest – Travelin Finn, Creative Director
The Miss World 2023 contest is being produced by Endemol Shine India. The creative director of this production house is Travelin Finn. While talking to Dainik Bhaskar, he said, 'This time the Indian flavor will be seen in this contest. We have been preparing for this finale for the last 5-6 months. Within 3 days, we had locked Karan Johar as host in the finale. Along with her, Miss World 2013 winner Megan Young will also host the finale. People from all over the world have been called in preparation to organize Miss World. The hard work of people from countries like India, England, Ireland, China, Spain will be visible. Altogether 400-500 people are working on this project.

Miss World is selected after several rounds
The show's creative director Travelin Finn has told that before the finale of the Miss World pageant, contestants from across the country have to face many different rounds. These include Beauty with a Purpose, Talent, Sports, Debate. The top 5 contestants who clear all these rounds have to face question-answer, after which the winner is announced. Beauty with a Purpose round is very special in this pageant.
All the contestants start this round in their respective countries. All contestants have to state a goal to work on a social issue and in the field of public welfare. Each contestant has to shoot a 'Beauty with a Purpose' video in their country, which is presented in front of the jury. Whichever contestant's work the jury finds the best, wins this round. After the pageant, the Miss World team helps in their cause.
Last year's Miss World is from Poland. His project was to collect money to build a bathing place for the poor people of his country.
Travelin' Finn also talked about Sini's 'Beauty with a Purpose' project. He told- Sini is making a project to promote the skills of small children. The name of his project is Ashaye.
Top 40 contestants meet in the debate round, the round took place in the G-20 summit room.
Travelin Finn talks about the important debate round of Miss World. He said, 'This time we held the debate round in the G20 summit room, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi was sitting. Girls from many countries sat in the same room and debated. From such rounds we get top-40 contestants. Then out of the top 40, top 12, then top 8 and then winner and runner-up will be selected. This time girls from a total of 112 countries have participated in this competition.

India's Sini Shetty won the Best Designer Award
In this contest, during the World Designer Round, every girl chooses a designer from her country who prepares a gown for her. Then the girls walk the ramp wearing that gown. The judges sitting on the panel decide who has the best gown and the best designer. India's Sini Shetty won this competition.
Finn said- Sini is a very strong contestant. All the things which should be there in Miss World are present in Sini.
The jury decides according to stage presence and behaviour.
Travelin Finn has told that all the contestants are judged on the basis of their behaviour, stage presence, poise, and walk. After all these rounds, the top-5 contestants face questions from the jury before the finale. The contestant giving the best answer is declared the winner.
Miss World Finale will be telecast live in more than 100 countries
Finn, Creative Director, Endemol Shine said that the show will be shown live on Sony Liv in India. This contest will be broadcast live in more than 100 countries. This contest will start today at 7:30 pm in India. It will be organized at the famous Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai. This time Donna has choreographed the Miss World team. Donna has been associated with this franchise for the last 30 years.
Shaan, Tony Kakkar and Neha Kakkar will perform in the finale.
Finn also talked about his performance during the show. He told, 'Singer Shaan will perform in the finale of Miss World. He has created an original song for this contest. In this song of Shaan, the contestants will walk the ramp, whose costumes have been designed by Archana Kochhar. Apart from this, Tony Kakkar and Neha Kakkar will also perform. Designed clothes after discussing with Cultural Ministry of India – Archana Kochhar
Archana Kochhar further said, 'The perception of India abroad has changed now because of Modi ji. We have been working with Modi ji on Make in India theme for the last eight years. While designing the clothes for the contest, we also discuss with the Cultural Ministry of India. A glimpse of India will be seen in the entire collection.
Fashion designer Archana Kochhar has prepared the costumes for the Miss World finale. Archana had to double her team to make costumes for about 112 countries.
All designer dresses have been brought by truck – Archana Kochhar, Fashion Designer
Archana Kochhar, who designed dresses for the contestants from all the countries in the show, said, 'We have designed clothes for girls from 112 countries for the Miss World contest. Today all those clothes have been brought here by truck. It took months to design so many clothes. I had to double my team. In normal shows we design 30-35 clothes, but here we had to design 4 times more.
All these props will be used during the performance of Tony Kakkar and Neha Kakkar. A glimpse of India's artwork can also be seen on these props.
Opening act prepared keeping modern India in mind – Marzi, dance choreographer
This time in the finale, Marzi Pestonji along with choreographer Shiamak Davar has taught dance to the contestants. Marzi said, 'We have done the opening act keeping modern India in mind. We have also included a small sequence of Kathak in the dance. Props have been used in Neha Kakkar's performance. There are 50 dancers for the finale, 25-30 back stage people. There are 100 people in total. It took at least 2-3 weeks to prepare this Act.
In the Miss World Finale, Marzi Pestonji along with choreographer Shiamak Davar taught dance to the contestants.
25 thousand people can sit and watch this contest to be organized at Jio World Convention Center. If reports are to be believed, this time Nita Ambani and Priyanka Chopra can be seen in the judge panel. The rounds of Miss World have started from 18th February in Delhi. All the contestants were accommodated in Ashok Hotel in Delhi, however now everyone has reached Mumbai for the finale. All the contestants have been accommodated in Sky City Hotel. The final practice of all the contestants took place at Jio World Centre.

6 Indian contestants won Miss World title
6 contestants from India have won the Miss World crown. Rita Faria won the Miss World crown for the first time in 1966. After that in 1994, Aishwarya Rai won this competition. Diana Hayden wore this crown in 1997. Yukta Mukhi won the Miss World crown in 1999. Priyanka Chopra in 2000 and Manushi Chhillar won the Miss World title in 2017.
