Balrampur The gap between dearness allowance of central and state government employees is continuously increasing. Chhattisgarh Teachers Association Balrampur District President Pawan Singh said that the Central Government has increased the dearness allowance of its employees by 4 percent from January 1, 2024. Due to this, the dearness allowance of central employees has increased from 46 percent to 50 percent, while the dearness allowance of state employees has increased to 4 percent from July 1, 2023 and 4 percent from January 1, 2024, making a total of 8 percent pending. At present 42 percent dearness allowance is being given to the state employees. Teachers Association has demanded from the state government to immediately give 50 percent dearness allowance like the Centre.
