AP DSC Teacher Recruitment Exam: Candidates who have applied for the exam can check the official notice on cse.apgov.in. The exams will now begin on March 30
The Andhra Pradesh Department of School Education has deferred the AP District Selection Committee (DSC) teacher recruitment exam to March 30. The exam was earlier scheduled to be held on March 15. Candidates who have applied for the exam can check the official notice on cse.apgov.in. The exams will now conclude on April 30, 2024. The education department will likely release the admit cards by March 25.
Education Minister Botsa Satyanarayana had earlier announced that as many as 6,100 posts will be filled through the AP DSC recruitment drive. The notification was released in February for 2,280 SGTs, 2,299 School Assistants, 1,264 TGTs, 215 PGTs, and 42 Principal posts. Applications for the post were accepted till February 22. AP DSC exams will be conducted according to the 2018 syllabus.

Step 3: Click on the link.
Step 4: A PDF file will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Check the notice.
Step 6: Download and save for further use.

According to the Minister, this notification would be used by the government to hire instructors for schools run by seven different management entities, including Municipal, Zilla Parishad, Mandal Parishad, Andhra Pradesh Model Schools, and others. Satyanarayana said in a press release, “All the teacher vacancies coming up till next April will be filled through this DSC. Further, under the zero vacancy policy, all vacancies arising in a given year will be filled in that year itself.” The age limit for general category candidates has been fixed as 44 years. For reserve category candidates, the age limit has been extended by another five years.
As per media reports, the AP high court has ruled that there must be a minimum of four weeks gap between AP TET and AP DSC 2024 exams. This decision was taken following a petition in the HC seeking additional time to prepare for the AP DSC exam.
