At that time I had stopped doing films and started making pizzas and rotis sitting at home. Started playing with children. Then after that Covid came. Thanks to all the jury members who considered me worthy of Best Actor… When I had not received the award for many years, it seemed that I would not get the award now. However, I am very happy to see this trophy. I love awards, I'm a little greedy.

Shahrukh dedicated the Best Actor trophy to wife Gauri and his children Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan, Abram. Shahrukh jokingly left the audience in a tizzy when he added the word 'Baap' in honor of his children. Shahrukh said in a humorous manner – As long as your father is alive, Manoranjan is alive.
