Pandit Kalki Ram, a renowned astrologer from Ayodhya, says that those who are celebrating Holi for the first time after marriage, should follow some remedies for its prosperity. According to him, the remedies are explained in astrology. If spouses choose to follow these, it will strengthen their marriage, as well as financial conditions.
On the day of Holi, the newly-weds should pray to Lord Shankar and Goddess Parvati. The colours of abir and gulal are to be offered on their feet, and then apply the gulal to your spouse. As per the beliefs, this remedy ensures a lot of love between husband and wife.
According to the next remedy, on the day of the festival, feed a cow with jaggery roti and green fodder. After that, apply gulal on its feet and walk around it for 7 times. As you do so, express whatever you want or desire to Gau Mata. It will strengthen the bond of love between you and your spouse, and end any financial problems you are dealing with.
The astrologer explains further, that if you are going through some troubles, the couple should apply turmeric tilak on each other’s foreheads on the day of Holika Dahan, which is on March 24. Then, circumambulate the Holika 7 times. According to the beliefs, this remedy will rid you of any marital problems.
