Sri Lankan cricketer Dilshan Madushanka may be out of the initial matches of IPL. He has also been ruled out of Bangladesh tour due to injury. He was already out of the second ODI to be played against Bangladesh in Chattogram on Monday. The Sri Lankan Cricket Board issued a statement on Sunday saying that Mudshanka has suffered an injury to his left ham string. He will return to Sri Lanka from Bangladesh for recovery. His injury has been confirmed in MRI. He had to return mid-tour. He will be evaluated by the medical team at the High-Performance Center in Sri Lanka.

Madushanka was bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs 4.6 crore in the IPL mini auction held in December last year. Madushanka took 2-2 wickets in two ODI matches against Bangladesh. He has taken 41 wickets in the 23 ODI matches played so far. Whereas he has taken 14 wickets in 14 T-20s. He made his Test debut against Pakistan in Colombo in July last year, but did not get any wicket in an innings of bowling.
